For improving digestion and assimilation, 2-4 tablets can be taken with hot water after meals. This medicine is also indicated in abdominal gas, constipation, bloating, hyperacidity, and many other abdominal disorders. Gandhak Vati is also known as Raj Vati.
Ingredients
- Suddha Gandhak - Purified Sulphur is useful in cough, asthma, consumption, general debility, enlargement of liver and spleen, chronic fevers, etc. It is well well-known medicine for diseases of the skin. In combination with jaggery or cream of milk, it is given for diseases like hemorrhoids, prolapses and stricture, and chronic skin diseases.
- Shunthui - The oil secretion in the body is boosted as it contains aromatic oil. Despite being pungent, Shunthi is very helpful in increasing the quality of semen. It also helps in constipation because of its quality of digestion effect after consumption. It helps check vomiting, promotes the voice effect, and is useful in many gastric ailments. It is useful in elephantiasis, abdominal digestion, and edema and relieves pain in piles.
- It has the quality of absorbing water from the walls of the intestines and thus it is useful in solidifying fecal substances. To check skin rashes, it should be taken with jaggery. When taken with onion juice, it helps check vomiting.

Dosage
- 1 – 2 tablets 1 – 2 times a day, before or after food or as directed by an Ayurvedic doctor with lukewarm water.
