Planet Ayurveda Kutki Powder is the bitter-tasting root of Picrorhiza kurroa which is hard, 6-10 inches in length, and is a creeper. Leaves of the herbal plant are long by 2-4 inches, oval in shape with a sharp apex, flat, and serrate. The herb's flowers are white or pale purple on a long spike, and the fruit is an ½ inch long and oval in shape. Which blooms in June through August. This herbal plant grows in the hilly regions of the North-Western Himalayan region from Kashmir to Kumaun and Garhwal regions of India and Nepal.
